We are paying $15 an hour starting plus tips on bath dogs on a W2 weekly basis, pay will go up depending on experience.
Pay is W2, weekly paid via direct deposit.
First few weeks will be paid cash during training until more hours are available.
The job will be a little strange hour wise for the first two weeks because two of our apprentices moving up to groomers.
The first two weeks is a set schedule of Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday from 10am to 1pm with the possibility for more hours as needed.
Then the next two weeks will be more hours going from 8am or 9am to 1pm as needed.
By the beginning of May, the position will be a set schedule of 8am-1 /2pm Tuesday through Saturday.
We close Christmas Eve through New Years Day for a break as well each year.
Timeliness is required.
Lateness not tolerated.
We focus on quality of baths as well, so thoroughness is expected.
Duties include:
? Washing dogs ? Drying dogs ? Brushing dogs ? Clipping and grinding dog nails (we can teach you!) ? Performing add on packages like brushing teeth or desheds ? Cleaning the bathing area and kennels ? General with assisting the groomers ? Sweeping the floors Being able to lift 50lbs is required.
