9 Monroe, GA Monroe, GA Full-time Full-time From $90,000 a year From $90,000 a year Providence Care is currently searching for an exceptional Registered Nurse leader to be our Director of Clinical Services overseeing our hospice clinical team in our growing Monroe, GA hospice office.
Hospice experience is required to be considered for this role, preferably as a RN Case Manager and as a Clinical Nurse Manager to understand all aspects of hospice and how to manage the team appropriately.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall clinical operation and direction of hospice clinical services Establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total mission and philosophy of service This position will collaborate with all levels of management to drive effective change management Liaise with Operations departments for improvement activities Instructs the new leaders and staff in operational process assisting in a successful transition Perform comprehensive assessments and analysis of clinical process in the office and develop education based on the needs and findings to support the clinical staff on ways to improve the delivery of patient care Guide the development of the organization's process for eligibility, skilled need, development of care plan and the delivery of care for our hospice operations Create SOPs and document these processes as needed for operational improvements Serve as an expert resource to the clinical staff regarding Medicare COPs, company policy, Medicare hospice benefit management and key indicators Support the compliance functions Provide support during state survey, accreditation survey, and participate in IDT meetings Identify trends in delivery of care or operational deficiencies and provide feedback to correct any matters affecting the delivery of services to the patient Support the QAPI/PI process and assist with the development of action plans based on outcomes Skills Proven experience as a Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing Unencumbered RN license in the state of Georgia or multi-state license Minimum of 2 years of hospice experience required 3-5 years of management experience high preferred In-depth knowledge of Hospice regulations Understanding of basic budgeting and financial reporting Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administration Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel Great communication and people skills Outstanding organizational and stress management skills Aptitude in problem-solving Degree in nursing; Master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration is a plus Valid nursing and CPR certification Job Type:
