We have a current career opportunity as a Maintenance Supervisor.
Shift/s Available for this position:
Monday through Friday (11:
00 pm - 7:
00 am)
Essential Functions:
Responsible for planning and oversight of maintenance technicians.
Analyzes operational problems and develops modifications in design to improve efficiency.
Utilizing Maintenance Management System (MP2) to create work orders and generate execute PMs.
Maintaining and continuously evaluating plant-wide Maintenance activities.
Evaluating Maintenance Technician's skill level.
Conducting daily meetings pertaining to ongoing machine down-time and previous shifts downtime.
Supporting internal customers (manufacturing engineering, production lines, utilities, etc).
Supporting technical items for all Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
Supervising junior maintenance activities.
Responsible for Daily machine down-time reporting Maintenance Sequel Server System.
Qualifications:
A High School diploma is required; advanced vocational training beyond high school is preferred.
At least 5 years prior Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership skills and abilities.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Special skills required:
Understanding of CNC/Machining, electronic/electrical, PLC Logic, continual safety awareness, test equipment, schematics, mechanical, metric system, blueprint reading, measuring techniques, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Must have clear understanding of reading and interpreting blueprint and drawing.
Also understand drawing symbols.
Must have a good mechanical aptitude and understanding of how mechanical mechanism function.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Required to sit or stand and move about the facility.
Must be able to push, pull and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Combination of office and plant environment.
May be required to use safety glasses and wear steel toe shoes while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas.
